Our Mission:
The Video Game Development Club at UCI aims to present its members with oppertunities to learn about video game design and programming. We also intend to enable our members to interact with industry personnel in order to learn more about oppertunities in game design/development.

- November 5, 2002:The Programming Guidelines are up. Constult them as they are not only useful locally, it helps make your code more presentable which is always a good thing. E-mail me if you have any questions

- February 15, 2002:We held a very productive meeting on Friday. We broke off into two groups, Programmers and Designers. The Programmers began learning to used DirectX 8.1 and the Designers began planning out what kind of game to make. We hope to have a full game completed by the end of Spring 2002. These means we will try to meet at least once a week, and maybe twice. For now we will hold weekly meetings on Fridays at 6 in CS180 and CS183. E-mail me with any questions
- February 13, 2002: The VGDC held its very first meeting at IERF 101 on Monday, 13th February. The turnout met our expectations and Prof. Frost took some of his time to address the prospective members. We discussed the working of the club and compiled a list of members. If you missed the meeting for any reason, please feel free to drop in at our next meeting. We plan to start our work by building a very simple game. Once again, drop in next time to find out more.
